“The Chinese brand has already launched two smartphones in India, and is developing content for Indian consumers”
Chinese manufacturer LeEco (formerly LeTV) marked its debut in India recently with the launch of the Le 1s and Le Max smartphones. Now according to a report by Digit.in, the brand’s Super TVs and next smartphones are coming to India in the second quarter of this year.
The company’s Indian COO of Smart Electronics, Atul Jain, reportedly told the publication that the LeEco will be bringing in more content and cloud services to India in a matter of months. It is also working on developing India-specific content as well.
LeEco currently has five smartphones in its portfolio – the Le 1, Le 1 Pro, Le 1s, Le Max and Le Max Pro. The brand has already launched two of these in the country, and will be bringing the other three smartphones here in the coming months, said the report. Meanwhile, it is all set to celebrate LeEco Day on February 25th in India. During the day, the Le 1s would be available on open sale with offers and prizes worth Rs 8 crore to be won by consumers.
