“The YU YU6000 with is expected to launch soon at a retail price of Rs 9,999”
The long impending successor to YU Televentures’ Yureka Plus smartphone, the YU6000 might be nearing its launch given that import details for the same have been spotted on Indian import-export data website Zauba. Although the company’s upcoming mid-range device previously also made an appearance on GFXBench and GeekBench benchmark listings, the Zauba listing now confirms the existence of this device with an import price of Rs 9,369 which is expected to cost consumers Rs 9,999 once the device launches.
From what we know so far, the device is expected to sport a 6-inch Full HD display, 3GB of RAM, Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, 16GB of expandable internal storage, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, dual-SIM and 4G LTE connectivity. The YU6000 is also touted to possess a 13MP rear camera and a 8MP front facing shooter. The inclusion of a fingerprint sensor on this smartphone might make it an option to consider in this price-bracket over the likes of the Lenovo K3 Note, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 16GB and Coolpad Note 3 although we will reserve our verdict until the complete specifications are revealed by the manufacturer.
