Tambo Mobiles launches its Superphone TA-4 at Rs 6,999
Tambo Mobiles, a new entrant in India’s mobile phone market, today announced the launch of its smartphone – TA-4. Dubbed as ‘Superphone’, the phone comes with a price tag of Rs 6,999. The phone will be available across distributor channels in India.

2GB RAM, Android Nougat 7.0 and a 3000mAh battery

The TA-4 comes with a 5.45-inch IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass, 2GB RAM, a fingerprint sensor and face recognition technology. Its storage is 16GB which can be expanded up to 64GB and the battery is a 3000 mAh one. The TA-4 runs on Android Nougat 7.0 operating system and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor. The TA-4 will be available in three colours – Jet Black, Champagne and Sapphire Blue.

Commenting on the launch, Sudhir Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Tambo, said, “Tambo TA-4 is a powerful device developed keeping in mind the Indian customers’ preferences. Launching our second Superphone TA-4 is delightful as it is a step forward towards achieving our goal of complete mobility in India. After the success of TA-3, it is a pleasure for us to launch a new product with advanced features with higher spec for seamless multi-tasking. We believe that a product with good quality offered at an affordable price becomes the hero, and we try to build that in each of our products.”

The smartphone comes with an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash powered by a Samsung sensor. The front camera is a 5MP one with flash. The camera has features and modes like Face Beauty, Burst mode, HDR, Panorama and stickers.

The company promises a service warranty of 200 days replacement along with warranty of one-time screen replacement within 365 days of buying the phone. Tambo says that it has more than 600 service centres in India and aims to have 1000 service centres by the end of 2018.
