We liked Watch Dogs (mostly) and time to look forward to Watch Dogs 2. The original sold more than four million copies in a week and has sold more than 10 million copies in total so there are plenty of you out there eagerly awaiting the sequel.
Watch Dogs 2 release date rumours
After E3 2015 came and went, it’s been a long time waiting for news on Watch Dogs 2. However, Ubisoft has confirmed the existence of the game.
As part of its most recent financial report, Ubisoft announced that ‘the next instalment of Watch Dogs’ will launch between 2016 and 2017. The firm is talking about the financial calendar so the game will arrive by 31 March 2017.
Other games confirmed for the same release period include For Honor, South Park, the Fractured but Whole and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon WildLands.
Although Ubisoft didn’t give the name, it is expected to be called Watch Dogs 2 so that’s what we’re going with until further news. It’s likely to be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
